Design gets people to stay on a page — the words are what get them to act. A few principles I follow when writing site copy.
## Lead With the Visitor’s Problem
Open by naming the problem your visitor has, not just describing your company.
## Keep Sentences Short
Website copy is scanned, not read word-for-word. Short sentences and clear headings make content easier to absorb.
## One Clear Call to Action
Every page should have one obvious next step — not five competing buttons.
## Be Specific
“Fast, reliable service” says less than “Websites delivered in 7–14 days with unlimited revisions.”
## Write Like You Talk
Avoid corporate jargon — copy that sounds human builds more trust than copy that sounds like a brochure.
Good copy paired with good design is what actually turns visitors into inquiries.
