SEO doesn’t have to be complicated to make a real difference. These are the fundamentals I check on every project.
## Page Titles & Meta Descriptions
Each page should have a unique, descriptive title and meta description that reflects what’s actually on that page.
## Heading Structure
Use a single H1 per page, then H2s and H3s to organize the content logically — search engines use this to understand structure.
## Image Alt Text
Describe what’s in each image; this helps accessibility and gives search engines more context.
## Internal Linking
Link between related pages on your own site — it helps visitors and search engines navigate your content.
## Page Speed
A fast-loading site is a ranking factor on its own, on top of improving the visitor experience.
None of this replaces a full SEO strategy, but getting these basics right on every page is a strong foundation.
